Penwickry Daion was born in Germany and now lives in Hong Kong. He is an experienced artist whose paintings have been exhibited domestically and in Japan. He fell in love with wabi-sabi art as a child, and his works are inspired by his own nostalgia and fondness for traveling and solitude. In his artistic process, he most often uses acrylic resin, felt pens and other materials and tools on canvas to create art paintings of simple and quiet things called wabi-sabi.
